The Robot Game
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
"The Robot Game" was my final, self-directed project for my university robotics course. I opted to develop a game where the player controls both a real Arduino robot and an in-game robot sprite with the purpose of reaching the on-screen goal.
Since I constructed and coded the Ardunio robot myself (I gave it the name "Glover Sock 2"), there is not really a way for this game to serve its full purpose without that specific model which already has been dismantled. I thus have attached a video demonstration of how the game is meant to be played with my Arduino robot plugged into my laptop for portfolio purposes. The game can still be playable on its own. There are a range of difficulties that can make the in-game robot and/or goal disappear over time.
A web version cannot be possible due to Godot with C#'s export limitations.

Install instructions
WINDOWS USERS: You will be warned by Microsoft Defender that opening this game might be dangerous. It isn't, and you can otherwise run this game safely. You will also need to unzip "TheRobotGameWindowsVersion.zip" and run the exe file while the other "data_Final_COMP353_windows_x86_64" folder remains in the same folder as the exe file.
MAC USERS: You will be warned by Apple's Gatekeeper feature that you cannot launch the game. You must manually go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Security and allow this game to run.
LINUX USERS: A download option is available; however, I do not have the means to test whether it properly functions exactly like the Windows version. Please let me know if it doesn't. You will also need to unzip "TheRobotGameLinuxVersion.zip" and run the X86_64 file while the other "data_Final_COMP353_linuxbsd_x86_64" folder remains in the same folder as the X86_64 file.
