Slides Girl: Illusions

A very quick puzzle platformer game with presentation-themed levels: "Slides Girl: Illusions". If played directly on this web page, press the bottom-right full-screen button to avoid seeing background assets the player isn't meant to see. Best works on a 16:9 display. Will not work on mobile.

Made during my university course's 3-day hackathon in a 5-student team, where the only rule was to follow the theme "ILLUSION".

Credits

• Developers: Ella R. (designer, artist, animator, composer), SHuang (designer, artist, animator), Keith D. (designer, programmer), Mark Z. (designer, programmer, artist), and Roamer Monkey (designer, programmer).
  • Ella particularly drew and animated the main character Slides Girl, and composed the background music. SHuang particularly redrew much of the slides levels to be more distorted and edited the level transition cutscenes. Keith, Mark, and I particularly worked on separate levels and mechanics. One level ended up being scrapped due to being corrupted by GitHub's version control.

  • SFX (elsewhere): Brackeys' Platformer Bundle's sound effects by Asbjørn Thirslund, and the meme metal pipe falling sound effect (sound derived from JackTex's YouTube video; original source indeterminate).
